Trips

A rounded education is more than just classroom-based learning. We think trips and visits are a vital part in helping our pupils, at whatever age, to have new and stimulating experiences. Taking them out and about in the nursery class helps each child to learn how to adapt to new environments, meet new people, explore, practice listening skills and how to be part of a group.

The children visit places in the local area such as Manor Farm and Westonbirt Arboretum. Other visits include Butterfly World, The Butts Farm and Lacock.

Children also have adventures of their own within the 30 acres of our school grounds, with regular picnics, forest walks, nature trails, scavenger hunts etc.
