Academic, Performing Arts and Sports Scholarships

Grittleton House School Scholarships are awarded for excellence in the following specialist areas: Academic, Art, Drama, Music and Sports. Scholarships are open to young people who show considerable potential and are high achievers in their chosen field. They should also be outstanding role models for other students.

Grittleton House Scholars are expected to:
  • make a significant contribution to all areas of school life
  • participate actively in all events relating to their specialism
  • identify ways in which they can use their talents to contribute to the wider school community
  • demonstrate leadership and initiative
  • work as ambassadors for the relevant subject area, both in and out of school
  • contribute to the extra-curricular activities of the school
  • continue to perform at a very high standard in their specialist area, showing exemplary commitment and dedication

All Scholarships are open to pupils applying for entry into Year 7 and to pupils currently in Year 6 at Grittleton House School. These scholarships are awarded on the basis of merit. The scholarship exams take place in February.

Dates for 2016:

Performing Arts and Sports Scholarship examinations for the Senior School will be held on Tuesday 2nd February 2016.

Academic Scholarship examinations for the Senior School will be held on Thursday 4th February 2016.
