FEES & CHARGES
Registration Fee

A registration fee of £150.00 or £75.00 for Flying Start Nursery pupils is charged on registering a child for admission to Grittleton House School. The payment of this fee implies acceptance of the School Rules and the Terms and Conditions of the school.

Fees and Payments
  1. For new pupils, a term’s fees are due on the date agreed for entry to the School, even if the child is withdrawn before that date, unless the requisite notice (as defined in paragraph 3) has been given.
  2. Fees are payable on or before the first day of each term, and should be for the whole of the term. If a child is accepted after the beginning of the term then the fees should be paid on or before the start date.
  3. The ‘requisite notice’ shall mean a whole term’s notice given in writing to the Head no later than the first day of the term in which the pupil’s place will no longer be required after the end of that term.
  4. If a pupil is to leave the School the requisite notice (as defined in paragraph 3) must be given.
  5. If a pupil wishes to cease using the School transport, the requisite notice (as defined in paragraph 3) must be given.
  6. If a pupil wishes to cease instruction in tennis, ballet or any musical instrument, the requisite notice (as defined in paragraph 3) must be given.
  7. Notice cannot be accepted for part of a term only. If a pupil is absent or does not attend private tuition or does not use the School bus for part of a term, fees for that term are payable in full, irrespective of what previous notice may have been given.
  8. Fees are reviewed annually for the beginning of the Spring Term. The new School fees list is given to parents during the December of the previous year.

If you no longer require a school lunch, we require a half terms notice or payment in lieu of notice. You will be required to notify the Bursar of your intention.
Payment will be added to your termly invoice at the beginning of each term.
School lunch payments are non-refundable. The Bursar reserves the right to review individual cases if there are extenuating circumstances.

UNIFORM

All pupils at Grittleton House School wear the School Uniform. The styles in the Junior and Senior Schools are different and the full uniform list can be obtained from the School Secretary.

If a pupil is disruptive to the detriment of other pupils, or their behaviour is below the expected levels, or the Head feels that it is in the best interests of the School, the Head reserves the right to permanently exclude the child from the School. In these cases, there will be no refund of fees.
